ACTION REQUIRED: All APEX users must now log in using the (.gov) platforms

 Dear APEX Users,

The APEX migration from certna.org to certna.ca.gov has passed its October 10, 2026 cutover date. All APEX users must now sign in to the platform using the ERDS (.gov) or G2G (.gov) login option in the current APEX client.

What you need to do

  • Use the ERDS (.gov) or G2G (.gov) login option every time you sign in to APEX.
  • If you still use the older certna.org login options, switch immediately. Access to the legacy 'Production' certna.org environment will be shut down soon, and the old login options will stop working.
  • If you don’t see the .gov login options, make sure you have the latest APEX client (released September 13, 2026). If the new platforms show up, but show as unavailable (Red X), contact your county or agent IT staff to confirm that the *.certna.ca.gov firewall rules are in place.
The image shows a login interface for the APEX system, with fields for username, password, and platform selection.

We will be reaching out to users who are still using the old platforms to help resolve any issues connecting to the new (.gov) platforms.

This notice does not apply to the APEX API. System-to-system API integrations are out of scope for this announcement. The deadline for eth API migration is still October 25,2026.

If you have questions or need help, contact Greg Dapkus at greg.dapkus@certnaca.gov.

Thank you for your cooperation.
